Lattice's mVision solution stack accelerates and simplifies the implementation of embedded machine vision systems such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems(ADAS), drone and augmented/virtual reality systems for a variety of industries: industrial, automotive, consumer, home automation and medical. The following are the key features of Lattice's mVision solution stack:
- VIP (Video Interface Platform) - Modular hardware development boards compatible with a wide range of video and I/O interfaces frequently used in embedded machine vision applications (MIPI, LVDS, DisplayPort, HDMI, USB and others). VIP development boards currently support various FPGAs from Lattice - CrossLink, ECP5 and CrossLink-NX - based on its Nexus platform.
- Comprehensive IP-core Library - The Lattice mVision solution stack includes a large selection of implementation-ready IP-cores for interfacing with MIPI and LVDS image sensors, image signal processing pipelines, widely used connectivity standards such as USB and Gigabit Ethernet, and display standards such as HDMI, DisplayPort and GigE Vision.
- Lattice FPGA Design Tools - The stack can be used with both the easy-to-use Lattice Diamond and Lattice Radiant FPGA design tools, which help accelerate and simplify the programming of Lattice FPGAs by automating many frequent design tasks.
- "End-to-end" reference designs - To further accelerate system development, Lattice mVision offers comprehensive reference designs for various widely deployed embedded machine vision applications - sensor bridging and aggregation, and image processing.
