Analog Devices has initiated a series of actions to support the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by accelerating the production of its dedicated medical technologies that can help fight the coronavirus.

These include essential measurement and control technologies used in medical equipment critical to the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 patients: ventilators, respirators, diagnostic test systems, infusion pumps, patient monitors, and imaging systems, such as CT scanners and digital X-rays.

To meet the growing needs of our medical customers, ADI has taken several actions:

  • Daily analysis of order backlog to identify and prioritize customers who are manufacturers of essential medical equipment as a result of increasing difficulties in procurement.
  • Preparation of dedicated production lines to increase the production of medical components and meet the increased demand from healthcare facilities.
  • Production teams were provided with protective equipment, guidelines for necessary social distancing, and proper work procedures for hygiene to ensure their health and safety as much as possible.
  • Working with local governments around the world to ensure that ADI and third-party facilities remain in operation so that they can continue to produce this essential medical technology.

The COVID-19 pandemic is having an unprecedented impact around the world. ADI is committed to doing its part to ensure the best health conditions for its team members, its clients and every citizen.

We are also leveraging our expertise by partnering with biosensor companies, hospital research sectors and participating in the international open source lung ventilator project to provide cutting-edge technology and design assistance where it is most needed," said Vincent Roche, President and CEO. "Our team is proud to support the medical staff, who are working hard to get us through this, treating patients around the world who are severely affected by COVID-19."
