The Chomerics Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation has announced the launch of THERM-A-GAP GEL 37, the next generation of single-component thermally conductive materials.
THERM-A-GAP GEL 37 has been specially designed to limit lot-to-lot variations typical of deliverable thermal materials.
With a thermal conductivity of 3.7 W/m-K and increased flow control of 30 g per minute (50% more than Parker's GEL 30), delivery is significantly improved in large volume applications.
As a malleable one-component compound, GEL 37 boasts a high level of long-term stability, ensuring reliable performance.
Itrequires no post-curing, which eliminatestime-consuming manual assembly and reduces installation costs.
THERM-A-GAP GEL 37 adapts without difficulty to irregular component shapes; an important feature is the possibility of creating thin (0.1 mm) deposit lines.
It is available in a variety of sizes and weights to suit any application, from manual dispensing syringes to Semco and Nordson EFD's large-volume tubes. It is available in weights from 30g to over 23kg.
THERM-A-GAP GEL 37 also boasts a service life of 18 months and good flexural strength, helping to maintain the shape of the material during cure.
