WRG, distributed in Europe exclusively by Starday srl, continues its policy of proximity and support to designers in the choice of the most suitable relay for each application, with the willingness to carry out in-house tests on request, according to the needs of each customer.
The knowledge of the market that WRG has acquired enables it, and consequently Starday srl to offer its customers, to also "anticipate" their needs, introducing specific innovative solutions to meet current design challenges and application requirements.
An example of this is certainly the ATEX(ATmosphere EXplosive IEC60079-15) certifications, which are now present on all WRG relays (RA1-RB-RC-RD-RF-RJ-RJE).
The quality of the machinery used for assembly means that the "ATEX" versions do not require any special precautions during assembly or testing, thus allowing the same price level to be maintained as for non-explosion proof solutions.
New features in the relay area are:
RDH (Super Sugar cube )
This is the 17A relay that joins the well-established RD series, maintaining operating temperatures in the range [-40°C, + 105°C] and is already available in versions with Glow Wire plastics (GWFI-GWFIT).
RCN
This is the evolution of the RC series relay (slim), which will be made available in 5-8-10 A versions and will have the first UL - TUV and CQC certifications by May 2021.
This relay (whose manufacturing technology is covered by several patents) promises much higher performance than the products currently on the market and will already have the ratings and specifications required, for example, by the temperature control market.
VDE Certificate Update - UL Relay RB Series
The UL certificate has recently been updated with the inclusion of ratings for temperature control according to IEC 60730-1:2015, Clause 17.
In addition, the VDE certificate update is being printed with the inclusion of 22 and 25 A ratings and GWEPT tests (glow wire tests performed directly on the relays).
RA1 Series Relays UL Certificate Update
The UL certificate has been recently updated with the inclusion of ratings dedicated to temperature control applications, according to IEC 60730-1:2015, Clause 17 and those related to ATEX(ATmosphere EXplosive IEC60079-15).
