Mouser has announced a new eBook in collaboration with TE Connectivity entitled 'In Proven in the Harshest Environments'.

In this ebook, Mouser and TE subject matter experts offer in-depth articles on how TE's wide range of connectivity and sensor solutions enable advances in transportation, industrial applications, medical technology, energy, data communications and the home.

Today's design considerations call for more than just improvements, involving increased productivity, safety and profitability through design optimisation, including an understanding of the environmental conditions surrounding projects.

Harsh environment conditions can include exposure to extreme temperatures, temperature cycling, ingress of liquids or particulates, electrostatic discharge (ESD), electromagnetic interference (EMI), vibration and physical impact.

The eBook "In Proven in the Harshest Environments" explores some of the key connector and sensor technologies needed to operate in harsh conditions, including articles on robust connectors for factories, heavy vehicles, offshore wind farms and drilling operations, as well as protected sensors in smart devices designed for underwater use.
